Frequently Asked Questions

Is this just another "think happy thoughts" workshop? No. This isn't about positive affirmations or manifesting your way out of anxiety. This is about practical techniques to deal with the reality that the world is chaotic while your brain still needs to function.

 

Will I be creating during this workshop? Not yet. We're clearing the mental blocks first. You wouldn't plant seeds in cluttered soil - we're preparing the ground so your creativity has somewhere to grow.

 

What exactly will we be doing for 60 minutes? We'll start with understanding why your brain's freaking out, then move into physical techniques to release tension, followed by voice work and grounding practices. And no, I won't make you share your deepest trauma with strangers.

 

I'm really anxious - will I have to speak or be on camera? Camera and participation are entirely optional. You can lurk in the shadows like a creativity vampire if that's what your nervous system needs right now.

 

Do I need any special equipment? Just your body, enough space to move around, where you can make some noise, and whatever device you're using for Zoom. No essential oils, crystals, or elaborate altar setups required. Although you are welcome to use them!

Will this be recorded? Yes. The workshop will be recorded and available afterward for all participants. So when your kid has a meltdown or your internet dies mid-session, you can still access all the content.

 

I can't make the live date - is it still worth signing up? Unless you're planning to print out the slides and use them as kindling, yes. You'll get the recording plus all materials, and early birds still get access to the bonus call recording.

 

How is this different from other anxiety workshops? Most approaches skip the body component. Your anxiety lives in your body, not just your mind. We address both because your politics-induced panic isn't just mental - it's physical too.

 

I'm not actually "creative" - is this still for me? If you've ever had a thought that wasn't directly downloaded from cable news, congratulations - you're creative enough for this workshop. This is about reconnecting with that part of your brain that can think beyond panic mode.

 

Does the early bird bonus call happen before or after the workshop? The 30-minute bonus call happens a few days after the workshop so you can actually implement what you've learned and then come back with questions that begin with "I tried X and Y happened - what now?"

 

What's the difference between this and the full Liberation Lab? This gives you immediate relief and the first tools to clear mental space and calm your body. The full Lab takes you through all three phases in depth - clearing, calming, and actively creating again.
